9:30 AM | OPP re­ceived a re­port of a break-and-en­ter and theft from Zehr Au­to­mo­tive in Tav­i­s­tock, be­lieved to have hap­pened at some point be­tween 8 p.m. on Mar. 29 and the time of the re­port. Un­known sus­pect(s) broke into a main­te­nance shed on the prop­erty by forc­ing open the locked doors. Once inside the thieves re­moved a bill-change ma­chine which con­tained ap­prox­i­mately $400. The value of the coin ma­chine is ap­prox­i­mately $6,500. The thieves also re­moved the on­site video sur­veil­lance equip­ment with a value of ap­prox­i­mately $2,000. The in­ci­dent oc­curred in the area of where the on-site car wash bays are near the rear of the prop­erty. Po­lice are con­tin­u­ing to in­ves­ti­gate.
