5:58 PM | Water­loo Re­gional Po­lice re­sponded to a sin­gle-ve­hi­cle col­li­sion in­volv­ing a mo­tor­cy­cle on Ament Line. A 43-year-old Guelph man was trav­el­ling south­bound on Ament Line with a group of mo­tor­cy­clists when he lost con­trol of his mo­tor­cy­cle, leav­ing the road­way and en­ter­ing a nearby field. The driver re­ceived mi­nor in­juries and did not re­quire med­i­cal at­ten­tion. The mo­tor­cy­cle was re­moved from the scene by a tow truck. No charges laid as a re­sult of the in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

9:10 PM | A Welling­ton County OPP of­fi­cer was mon­i­tor­ing traf­fic on County Road 109 in the Town­ship of Maple­ton. The of­fi­cer ob­served a male driv­ing a 2008 Pon­tiac at a speed that ap­peared to be well above the posted speed limit. The ve­hi­cle was locked on radar at 137 km/h in a 80 km/h zone. The 17-year-old driver from Welling­ton North was charged with ‘race a mo­tor ve­hi­cle’ and will ap­pear in Guelph Pro­vin­cial Court on De­cem­ber 6. His driver’s li­cence and ve­hi­cle were seized for a pe­riod of seven days as per statute.
