5:58 PM | Waterloo Regional Police responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Ament Line. A 43-year-old Guelph man was travelling southbound on Ament Line with a group of motorcycli­sts when he lost control of his motorcycle, leaving the roadway and entering a nearby field. The driver received minor injuries and did not require medical attention. The motorcycle was removed from the scene by a tow truck. No charges laid as a result of the investigat­ion.

9:10 PM | A Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on County Road 109 in the Township of Mapleton. The officer observed a male driving a 2008 Pontiac at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at 137 km/h in a 80 km/h zone. The 17-year-old driver from Wellington North was charged with ‘race a motor vehicle’ and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on December 6. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
