Fill up, help out – the Wellesley & District Lions Club’s “Taste of Wellesley Taco Night” happening Saturday evening will see proceeds support a couple of local causes.

Originally intending to direct the funds to the Habitat for Humanity, the club will now split the profits with victims of last week’s fire in the township that left several people without a roof over their heads.

Featuring all-you-can-eat tacos, the event runs 6-10 p.m. at the Wellesley Community Centre. Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for kids over 10 and free for those 10 and under, available at Pym’s Village Market, Esso and Town Barker.
