10:51 AM | A 53-year-old man from Oshawa was driv­ing a Peter­bilt trans­port truck east on Lis­towel Road in Elmira when he at­tempted to make a right turn onto Arthur Street, at which time the trailer struck a hy­dro pole on the cor­ner. Water­loo North Hy­dro crews re­sponded to re­pair the pole and the driver was charged with ‘mak­ing an un­safe turn.’

11:15 AM | Water­loo Re­gional Po­lice re­sponded to a re­port of a col­li­sion in the area of Nafziger Road and Bleams Road in Wil­mot Town­ship. A ve­hi­cle, trav­el­ling on Nafziger Road, stopped for a stop sign and when pulling out, went into the path of an­other ve­hi­cle on Bleams Road. Both ve­hi­cles were heav­ily dam­aged, but there were no se­ri­ous in­juries. The driver of the ve­hi­cle on Nafziger Road was charged with ‘fail to yield to traf­fic on through high­way.’
