WELLESLEY

The Woolwich Observer - - WORST INTERSECTIONS -

THE TOWNSHIP OF

WELLESLEY saw comparatively fewer vehicle accidents than their more populous neighbours, but nonetheless had some significant flashpoints.

Both the villages of Bamberg and Heidelberg had a significant number of collisions along the regional roads cutting through them.

The most troubled intersection in the township was right in the centre of the village of Bamberg. The intersections of Moser Young Road and Weimar Line had five collisions reported in 2017, with three of the five occurring in January alone.

The intersection of Kressler Road and Lobsing- er Line, on the southern end of Heidelberg, had three separate instances of vehicle collisions in 2017, all of them within days of one another in the month of March.

The remaining villages had fewer collisions directly within their centres, but saw collisions just outside the village limits.
