Pedigreed chef opens new resto
Despite November being as drab as they come, the heavens have aligned, and the food gods are looking upon us. Terre Rouge has just whipped open its doors at 162 Enterprise Blvd. close to Highway 7 and Warden Avenue. Executive chef Forrest Liu brings plenty of experience into the kitchen, having started in Shanghai under Michelin star chef Jean Georges Vongerichten as a youngster before finessing his technique at the likes of Canoe, Lee and One. Here, chef spins out French-influenced fare such as miso-glazed black cod with risotto and duck confit with charred corn. Dessert means peanut butter banana cake with milk foam and raspberry petals for good measure. And with seats for 90 spread over two floors, fret not — there’s plenty of room for everyone.
OVER THE RAINBOW Terre Rouge’s plates include the ogle-worthy tuna and salmon ceviche.
