THE GOOD

Thornhill Post - - NEWS -

Officers with the York Regional Police ( YRP) at their Richmond Hill district station got an adorable surprise on a particularly cold night in January: A stray dog, possibly an akita, was found on the street and brought to the police station. The YRP tweeted a shot of the dog, with the caption, “Passing the time helping Officers take a bite out of crime, and being adorable :)” The tweet was retweeted 566 times. The pooch was then taken to the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Newmarket and reunited with its owner three days later.
