Where did summer go?
Tuesday, September 5 th started our foggy and damp, but morphed into a lovely fall day for the Tuesday Lady Golfers at the Bridges at Tillsonburg. Scary but true... fall is here!
Thirteen 18-hole ladies played Strike 3 – each players’ three highest scoring holes were removed from the gross score. In the “A” Flight Devona Allen was first with 63, Sue Ure was second with 67 and Phyl Lawrence was third with 68. In ”B” Flight Taye Jackson was first with 72, Judy Vanymeren was second with 73 and Holly Reynolds was thrid with 76.
Koby Knibbe had a birdie on hole#6 and Sue Ure and Devona Allen had birdies on hole #2.
Eighteen 9-hole ladies vied for deducting a point from their gross score for the longest drive landing on the fairway on each hole. Mary Delouche was first. Marylou Fulkerson, Mary Fassaert and Mandy Mawhiney tied for second and Judy Blodgett was third.
