Theft of Court­land util­ity trailer

On Fri­day, Septem­ber 8, 2017 at ap­prox­i­mately 4:41 p.m., the OPP Nor­folk County De­tach­ment re­ceived a call from a trailer owner re­port­ing a theft on Main Street, Court­land. Through the course of in­ves­ti­ga­tion, it was de­ter­mined be­tween Satur­day, Sept. 2, and Fri­day, Sept. 8 un­knowns re­moved a home­made util­ity trailer from the prop­erty. The trailer is de­scribed as a yel­low­coloured 2008 home­made trailer and is val­ued at ap­prox­i­mately $5,000. Po­lice re­mind ev­ery­one, ‘if you see some­thing, say some­thing.’ If you see sus­pi­cious per­sons or be­hav­iour ap­proach­ing homes in our com­mu­nity or roam­ing the area, call the Nor­folk County OPP at 1-888310-1122.
