Till­son­burg has had some great suc­cess over the last cou­ple of week­ends both in hard ball and slo­p­itch!

Con­grats to the Till­son­burg Ban­tams and Midgets who won O.B.A. Cham­pi­onships both play­ing at the Pro­vin­cial B level, quite an ac­com­plish­ment for Till­son­burg. All the long hours of prac­tice pay­ing off for some out­stand­ing coaches who give up their free time to in­struct and men­tor in the game they love. The nu­cleus of the Ban­tam team have earned their fifth cham­pi­onship!

In slo­p­itch the I.C. Wa­ters squad were one out of reach­ing the Mas­ters D fi­nal fin­ish­ing an im­pres­sive fourth. The Pro­vin­cial Cham­pi­onships con­tinue this com­ing week­end with Cir­cus Room com­pet­ing in Mens E, while Corey’s Restau­rant and IndiGirls in Ladies B and C re­spec­tively will be the other lo­cal teams tak­ing part.

Mens A

There will be a new cham­pion in Mens A this year as two time ti­tle holder Haines Roof­ing was swept by Maple View Va­ri­ety.

The other se­ries was also a sweep as Plat­inum Con­crete Di­a­mond Kings a sub 500 reg­u­lar sea­son team won a pair of one run games over third place G.C. Louns­bury in­win­ning the se­ries.

The semi-fi­nal match-ups will be I.C. Wa­ters tak­ing on Plat­inum and Robert Q Travel con­test­ing with Maple View.
