GOSPEL HYMN CON­CERT: Fri­day, Nov. 16, St. John’s Angli­can Church, 23 Dover Street, Ot­ter­ville, is host­ing a Gospel Hymn Con­cert with the The Lynn Val­ley Voices, Nor­folk’s new­est vo­cal en­sem­ble. This group in­cludes singers from across the county. Formed in the fall of 2015 by Jan­ice Ketchen to fill the need for a mixed voices com­mu­nity choir in the area, this group of ex­pe­ri­enced cho­ris­ters per­forms choral mu­sic from var­i­ous pe­ri­ods and gen­res. Since its in­cep­tion, the LVV has at­tracted over 40 tal­ented singers and per­formed at var­i­ous venues around the area. Come and en­joy your favourite hymns.

Guest speaker, Frank Moore of the Till­son­burg Mil­i­tary His­tory Club, will present “The Suit­case,” de­scrib­ing the con­tents of a suit­case he dis­cov­ered that led to the iden­ti­fi­ca­tion of a crew of Cana­dian air­men lost in Hol­land in 1944.
