Mandy Farmer is President and CEO of the 30-year-old Accent Inns and three-year-old retro-chic Hotel Zed. Mandy reinvented and restructured the way Accent Inns did business, driving significant profit and cost savings as a result. She is the epitome of her brand’s motto, “Different in a Good Way,” and rides her bike to work every day, rain or shine, in high heels, bright 1980’s tights and funky dresses. When you meet her, you might think she is Hotel Zed personified. A few of her recent accomplishments include her current #25 ranking in Profit Magazine’s Top 100 Canadian Women Entrepreneurs, recently being named national Hotelier of the Year and her appointment as an Honorary Captain of the Navy affiliated with the Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt.
