Mel Cooper, a well-known ra­dio per­son­al­ity, busi­ness owner, men­tor and phi­lan­thropist, was hon­oured by his peers on Thurs­day night, tak­ing home the Vic­to­ria Cham­ber of Com­merce cov­eted Life­time Achieve­ment Award.

Cooper ac­cepted the award at a ca­pac­ity-crowd gala at the Fair­mont Em­press Ho­tel.
