Toronto Life - - Navigator -

At age 69, after a long career as a nursing home manager, Judith Maria Bradley decided to become a model. She began an Instagram account, where she has amassed thousands of followers drawn to her freespirited fashion sense and an indescribable aura of poshness. “Style is complicated—it’s in everything you do, from the way you hold your fork to the way you shake your leg,” she says. Her look has evolved over seven decades (she’s 72 now), and she pretty much wears whatever she wants, wherever she wants. She once attended a Blue Jays game in a red, floor-length evening gown, prompting a woman sitting in the row ahead to turn around and ask why on earth she was wearing such a thing. “Darling,” she said. “It’s because it makes me happy.”
