The aesthetic inspirations of eTalk reporter Liz Trinnear

The TV reporter whose style ranges from camera-ready chic to casual fun

When she was six years old, Liz Trinnear was so obsessed with a navy Roots tracksuit covered in white stars that her mom bought three of them. Same with her favourite Nikes, which she loved so much she wore from age two to 10. Today, as a television reporter for eTalk, her wardrobe has expanded considerably, but she still prioritizes comfort and personality: a fringed denim jacket emblazoned with a Bowie-esque lightning bolt for backstage interviews with boybanders, or a fitted top with flared sleeves and a floral knee-length skirt for sit-downs with Hollywood A-listers. Dressing for TV is different from dressing for real life. In real life, she’s still sporting her Nikes. In July, she walked down the aisle—in a pair of custom-made white ones.
