the an­nex, that lov­able mish­mash of stu­dent bars, cof­fee shops, yoga stu­dios and the chasm that was once Hon­est Ed’s (RIP), has one of the most eclec­tic pop­u­la­tions in the city; res­i­dents in­clude the mayor, Mar­garet At­wood and thou­sands of stu­dents. It has ex­cel­lent tran­sit ac­cess and med­i­cal care, and a healthy dose of gro­cery op­tions. And now for the down­sides: an av­er­age house price of $1.2 mil­lion skews on the un­af­ford­able side of the street, and the crime rate could be lower.
