Dareus returns happier, wealthier

-

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.— Defensive tackle Marcell Dareus rejoined the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday with his future secure and his past in perspective. Dareus signed a six-year, $108-million contract extension last week while serving a one-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. The fifth-year player says he’s finally able to put behind the past — including two run-ins with police — and focus on the future. The Alabama native joked he’s even accustomed to the Buffalo cold.
