Ve­hi­cle slams into Mis­sis­sauga home

A 19-year-old Mis­sis­sauga man has been charged with im­paired driv­ing af­ter a ve­hi­cle slammed into a house and two cars just af­ter 10 p.m. Satur­day night, Peel po­lice re­ported.

Po­lice say a pa­trol of­fi­cer was near Hurontario St. and Eglin­ton Ave. about 10 p.m. when he heard a loud noise. Of­fi­cers drove around the neigh­bour­hood when they dis­cov­ered the af­ter­math of the crash on Baron­dale Dr. and ar­rested a19-yearold.

Dam­age to the house and the two ve­hi­cles is ex­ten­sive, but there were no in­juries, ac­cord­ing to po­lice.

Ahmed Ab­dul-Ah­mid, 19, has been charged with im­paired driv­ing, dan­ger­ous driv­ing and fail­ing to pro­vide a breath sam­ple. Mis­sis­sauga News
