LEAFS’ TROOPS
A 26-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, Master Corp. Daniel Deschêne is an instructor with the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering at CFB Borden. During his career, Daniel has deployed on numerous mission abroad, including to Croatia in 1993, Bosnia in 1995 and again in 1996 to Haiti as part of the United Nations peacekeeping missions. He also had the opportunity to deploy to Afghanistan in 2010 where he worked on the CH147 Chinook helicopters. For every Maple Leafs home date this season, the Leafs and their alumni association are donating two tickets, jerseys, food and refreshments to members of the Canadian Forces, who will be honoured at each game.
