Ex-national team coach Suggitt dies
LETHBRIDGE, ALTA.— Canadian rugby coach Ric Suggitt, who led both the men’s and women’s national teams during his career, died Tuesday at age 58 from undisclosed medical complications. The Edmonton native led the Canadian men’s side at the 2007 World Cup. He also coached the women’s national team, under-19 and under-23 teams and men’s sevens before taking over as coach of the women’s program at the University of Lethbridge in 2015.
