MAY, Wes­ley Howard Nel­son – 73, of Bar­ring­ton Pas­sage passed away on Satur­day Oc­to­ber 20, 2018, in Yar­mouth Re­gional Hospi­tal where he was a res­i­dent for the past year. Born Novem­ber 8, 1944 in Pic­ton, On­tario, he was the son of the late Howard Al­ton and Eve­lyn Jean (Laven­der) May. Wes­ley was a truck driver all of his life, first in On­tario and then in Clark’s Har­bour with Clear­wa­ter Seafood. He was an avid base­ball fan. He fol­lowed the Blue Jays and he at­tended their games when­ever pos­si­ble. He is sur­vived by his wife, Ruby (Ross) May; sis­ters, Mar­i­lyn May, Sharon Lit­tle; brother, Larry May; two step-grand­sons, Katlin Banks and Matthew Banks. Be­sides his par­ents he was pre­de­ceased by his sis­ter, Linda Ross; brother, Wayne May, David May; step-daugh­ter, Rose Mary Banks. The fam­ily would like to give a spe­cial thanks to the nurses on 4th floor South at Yar­mouth Re­gional Hospi­tal and the Dial­y­sis Unit, as well as Doc­tors Moses, Aikeida and Togloto. There was a vis­i­ta­tion on Fri­day, 6-8 p.m. at the H. M. Huskil­son’s Memo­rial Chapel, Bar­ring­ton. The fu­neral ser­vice was held Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 27, 2 p.m. at the Newell­ton Bap­tist Church with Pas­tor Bob Parker of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment fol­lowed in the Old Kirk Ceme­tery, North East Point. It was re­quested there be fam­ily flow­ers only.
