Yarmouth Mariners recognize players

The Yarmouth Mariners didn’t get to compete in the playoffs this year but they did take the time to acknowledge players with their annual team/player awards earlier this month before everyone departed ways.

The following players are the recipients of the 2019-20 season honours:

• Academic Award: #6 Kieran Burke

• Phil Adams Memorial

Award: #10 Hunter Livingston

• Most Improved Player Award: #22 Sam Gillis

• Fan Favourite Award: #31 Justin Sumarah

• Rookie of the Year

Award: #19 Kurtis Lang

• Coaches Award: #3 Kaleb Boudreau

• 200-foot Player Award: #12 Johnathan Rees

• Team MVP Award and Top Scorer: #44 Matt Barron
