Available in pink or black, the Timex Ironman Easy Trainer offers an affordable entrance to the world of gps training for those looking to track speed and distance whether you’re biking or running. The Easy Trainer offers all this information on a big display and has an excellent Indiglo night light for evening training sessions in the dark. As with all of Timex’s latest gps offerings that use the SiRFstarIV technology, the Easy Trainer picks up the gps satellites quite quickly, which means you won’t find yourself standing at the end of your driveway for minutes before you can start your run.

The water-resistant (to 50 m) Easy Trainer can store up to 30 workouts and 20 hours of workout data, lasts for up to eight hours in gps mode before needing a recharge. The one downside to this watch is that there’s no heart rate functionality, but if you’re looking for a basic, affordable and easy-to-use training tool, you can’t beat the Easy Trainer.
