Of­fer­ing an in­cred­i­ble num­ber of train­ing stats, the Am­bit 2 is an im­pres­sively com­plete gps watch that will help you mon­i­tor vir­tu­ally ev­ery com­po­nent of your train­ing – in ad­di­tion to all the usual speed and data func­tions, you get al­ti­tude, tem­per­a­ture and com­pass in­for­ma­tion. Setup is easy and one press of a but­ton as you head out for a run will get you all your run­ning stats – dis­tance, heart rate, pace, al­ti­tude and more – and the Am­bit 2 will even track your route. Chang­ing sports is a breeze and you can even do it on the go – the one-click mul­ti­sport fea­ture al­lows you to eas­ily track your ef­forts as you move from swim to bike to run in a race. You can pair the Am­bit 2 to any ant+ power or cadence sen­sor to be able to turn the Am­bit 2 into a full-f ledged bike com­puter. In the wa­ter, the Am­bit 2 can count laps and an­a­lyze how far you go with each stroke to mea­sure your swim ef­fi­ciency.

The high-res­o­lu­tion screen on the Am­bit 2 is very easy to read no mat­ter what ac­tiv­ity you’re do­ing and, thanks to a bat­tery life of 16 hours (that’s if you’re mea­sur­ing data ev­ery sec­ond – it’ll last up to 50 hours if you track data ev­ery minute) the Am­bit 2 will get you through vir­tu­ally any en­durance ac­tiv­ity you can come up with.–
