TRY OUT YOUR KIT
Pick out your race kit well ahead of time and wear it during one or more of your long workouts. Doing all of your long rides in your favourite bib cycling shorts then suddenly switching to a minimalist triathlon chamois on race day won’t be comfortable. Some athletes choose to change their seat height according to which bike or triathlon shorts they wear, so little details can be a big deal on the big day. Be prepared and practice.
