HAVE A PLAN AND STICK TO IT

If you know your pace and you know your nutri­tion plan, then you have a strat­egy. Don’t throw your strat­egy out the win­dow when you see some­one come blaz­ing past you on race day. Full dis­tance rac­ing is ex­cit­ing and many ath­letes get caught up in the mo­ment and try to win the race in the first three hours. Stick to your plan, put on the blin­ders and ex­e­cute.
