There are major benefits to training with a snorkel, but the main one is simplifying head movement allowing you to focus entirely on technique. The front-mounted hydrodynamic design encourages head and body alignment and core stabilization. The snorkel also increases lung capacity by limiting the amount of air as it comes through the spout. A hypoallergenic silicone mouthpiece is soft and comfortable, as is the adjustable headpiece, which swivels so you can turn the mouthpiece sideways without having to remove it while talking to your coach or resting between sets. This nifty new gadget is ideal for new swimmers and triathletes or for those who are trying to nail bilateral breathing. Two fins fit easily under any goggles. By creating a larger air pocket, the breather prevents water inhalation. By preventing overrotation, the freestyle breather guides swimmers to a better head alignment, which leads to better body position and a more efficient swim.
