HYDRATE

-

Cool weather can be deceptive when it comes to the need to hydrate. When we sweat and experience discomfort in the heat, it is a strong reminder of the need to replace fluid losses and help control body heat. But, when those cues are missing, such as in cold weather, it can be easy to become dehydrated. Use other cues such as a beeping watch to help you stay on top of hydration and go with fluids that are palatable and appealing. Hot drinks such as tea, soups or hot chocolate are good options as post-workout recovery treats.
