New chiller under budget by almost $15,000

A new chiller was recently installed at the Vankleek Hill Arena with a cost much lower than anticipated. The project was completed under budget by $14,900. Town council has agreed to use the extra funds to purchase a time of day clock for the back wall of the arena, installation of a water cooler used to fill water bottles in the hallway between the dressing rooms at the north end of the arena, and to replace sand in Laurier Pilon Park with mulch. The park has had a problem with wasps in the past few years.
