ARTour this wee­kend

The ninth edi­tion of the Prescott-Rus­sell ARTour in­cludes 25 lo­cal ar­tists ope­ning their stu­dios up to vi­si­tors from far and wide to ex­pe­rience ar­tists in their own crea­tive en­vi­ron­ment. The event runs Sa­tur­day and Sun­day, Sep­tem­ber 26 and 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ARTour is an event de­di­ca­ted to the pro­mo­tion of lo­cal ar­tists and their work, while contri­bu­ting to the re­gion’s eco­no­mic de­ve­lop­ment. Ar­tists open their stu­dios al­lo­wing vi­si­tors to come in, browse and per­haps pur­chase a piece of art­work. The stu­dios are th­rou­ghout the re­gion from St-Eu­gène, Haw­kes­bur y, Vank­leek Hill, L’Ori­gnal, Plan­ta­ge­net, Wen­do­ver, Bour­get, Cur­ran, Cla­rence Creek, Ro­ck­land, and Cas­sel­man. Ar­tists’ work in­cludes pain­ting, dra­wing, sculp­ture, ce­ra­mics, stai­ned glass, art pho­to­gra­phy, tex­tile arts, quil­ting, wea­ving, ori­gi­nal clothing, wood­wor­king, je­welr y de­si­gners, and more.
