ARTour this weekend
The ninth edition of the Prescott-Russell ARTour includes 25 local artists opening their studios up to visitors from far and wide to experience artists in their own creative environment. The event runs Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ARTour is an event dedicated to the promotion of local artists and their work, while contributing to the region’s economic development. Artists open their studios allowing visitors to come in, browse and perhaps purchase a piece of artwork. The studios are throughout the region from St-Eugène, Hawkesbur y, Vankleek Hill, L’Orignal, Plantagenet, Wendover, Bourget, Curran, Clarence Creek, Rockland, and Casselman. Artists’ work includes painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, stained glass, art photography, textile arts, quilting, weaving, original clothing, woodworking, jewelr y designers, and more.
