The Lions and the Cou­gars tore in­to each other in the Vank­leek Hill Are­na over the wee­kend be­fore Hal­lo­ween. The end re­sult pro­ved a treat for the vi­si­ting Mor­ris­burg team.

The Mor­ris­burg Lions beat the Vank­leek Hill Cou­gars 6-2 in their Oct. 28 eve­ning game on the Na­tio­nal Ca­pi­tal Ju­nior Hockey League sche­dule. The game saw the Lions sco­ring points in eve­ry per­iod while the

Sco­ring for Mor­ris­burg were Brian Lan­dry, Za­cha­rie Le­blanc and Alec St-Ge­lais with singles and An­tho­ny Pace for a hat trick. Goal as­sists came from Lan­dry, Le­blanc, St-Ge­lais, Evan Man­tha, Tho­mas Ou­der­kirk, and Jor­dan Smail. Jus­tin La­londe guar­ded the Mor­ris­burg net.

The Cou­gars are in Met­calfe Nov. 3 against the Jets, then Ches­ter­ville the fol­lo­wing day against the North Dun­das Ro­ckets, and home on Re­mem­brance Day eve­ning to host the Black­burn In­fer­no.
