Josephine (Josie) Anna Bowles

Josephine (Josie) Anna Bowles – 94, Bible Hill, passed away peace­fully on April 18, 2017 in Vimy Court, Bible Hill.

Born in Wey­mouth, she was the daugh­ter of the late Her­bert and Bertha (Bright) Cromwell.

Josie worked for many years with Cross­ley Car­pets, Truro. She was a mem­ber of Im­mac­u­late Con­cep­tion Church as well as a mem­ber of the CWL and Le­gion Aux­il­iary in Wey­mouth.

Josie is sur­vived by her daugh­ter, Carolyn (Gary) Boyde, Bible Hill; son, David (Theresa) Bowles, Truro; grand­sons, Adrian (Tammy), Cory; many great grand­chil­dren and sev­eral step grand­chil­dren; sis­ter, Win­nifred Cle­ments, Win­nipeg.

Be­sides her par­ents, she was pre­de­ceased by hus­band, Clarence; brothers, Ralph, Wil­liam, War­ren, Os­car and Fred; sis­ters, Geral­dine, Ber­nice, Ce­leste and Ann. In Keep­ing with her wishes, Cre­ma­tion has taken place.

A Fu­neral Li­turgy will be cel­e­brated on Satur­day, April 22 at 12 Noon in Colch­ester Com­mu­nity Fu­neral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, Father Dar­iusz Miskow­icz of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment at a later date in Im­mac­u­late Con­cep­tion Ceme­tery, Ro­bie St., Truro. Fam­ily flow­ers only.
