Don­ald Alan Lin­klet­ter – 64, Truro/Musquodoboit Har­bour, passed away April 15, 2017 in QEII Hal­i­fax In­fir­mary.

Don was in­volved and worked his en­tire life in the truck­ing in­dus­try. He worked with Com­mer­cial Safety Sur­veys as a driv­ing in­struc­tor as well as with Mid­land Trans­port for 18 ac­ci­dent free years.

Don also worked with MacKay’s Volvo in sales and most re­cently, as man­ager of East Coast In­ter­na­tional-Truro.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

Don leaves be­hind his lov­ing wife of 43 years, Anita; sons, Ron and Chris (Irene); grand­son, Jonas, step grand­sons, Nic and Tom (Kennedy) Elliott, step-great-grand­son, Bill Elliott; brothers, Mau­rice (Nancy), Arthur (Nancy); sis­ter, Jen­nifer (Charles) Brunet; sis­ters in law, Dianne (Don­nie) Aren­burg, Teresa Bowser, Joanne Cook; nine nieces and neph­ews; sev­eral sec­ond cousins as well as sev­eral cousins in Hol­land. He was pre­de­ceased by par­ents, Mau­rice and Jo­hanna (Bour­gonje) Lin­klet­ter.

The fam­ily wel­come friends to a Grave­side Ser­vice which will be held on Satur­day, April 29 at 2 p.m. in Ro­bie Street Ceme­tery, Truro. A Re­cep­tion and Time of Re­mem­brance will fol­low at the fam­ily home, 246 Mid­dle Road, De­bert.
