Trailer Park Boys launch mobile phone game
Ricky, Julian and Bubbles are about to become your new best friends.
For the first time, the characters from the hit TV show Trailer Park Boys will be featured in a mobile game you can play on your android or iOS device.
Trailer Park Boys: Greasy Money is a tongue-in-cheek idle game where you run Sunnyvale trailer park on your smartphone by tapping through quirky stories inspired by the show, with the gang.
Upgrade businesses, collect character cards and complete challenges to advance. Hire workers to run your park and collect cash automatically while you’re gone. Complete challenges to unlock trunks and bust them open for collectible cards, liquor, hash and cash.
East Side Games, a Vancouver-based independent game studio partnered with the Trailer Park Boys to create the game, which was released yesterday.
Greasy Money hopes to keep gamers engaged through its comedic dialogue between the show’s cast of characters and likeness to the award-winning TV show: throw down with resident Trailer Park supervisors including Randy and Mr. Lahey in boss fights at the end of each season – the faster you tap, the faster you fight.
“Get this game on your brainphone, it’s worth the brandwidth,” encourages Ricky from Trailer Park Boys.
