Straight shooter expresses appreciation

Truro Daily News - - OPINION -

To the editor:

On behalf of the Highland Highwaymen and our safety sponsor, Hnytucks Outdoors, I’m happy to have this opportunity to thank the people of Truro who attended our Mounted Shooting Demonstration last week at the NS Provincial Exhibition.

We have been demonstrating this wonderful sport around the province for three years and the folks of Truro have been a joy to entertain. Your community makes us feel welcome and your honest enthusiasm for our riding and shooting skills as well as your love of our horses is greatly appreciated.

Truro is lucky to have the exhibition grounds as part of the community; this year’s staff and management ran a well organized, safe and fun event you can be proud of. Facilities like this are irreplaceable and should be vigorously supported.

We look forward to coming back to Truro, as so many of you requested, with bigger and better mounted shooting events in the future.

Yours in Safe Shooting

Ken Jardine,

President

Highland Highwaymen
