Suspect sought in barcode scanner thefts

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifyin­g a man who allegedly stole two barcode scanners from a Lower Truro business on ursday.

e devices, used by sta to verify prices and determine inventory, have a combined worth of approximat­ely $3,600.

Colchester District RCMP are seeking a male described as 40 to 45 years old, six-foot-two, with a large build, brown skin and a beard.

He left the store in a small, darkcolour­ed sedan.

Anyone with informatio­n about the incident is asked to contact Colchester District RCMP or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers.
