Mrs. Ruby Grace Mae (Mathe­son) Weatherbee, wife of Her­man Al­bert (Sonny) Weatherbee of Weld eld-Collette Road, Na­pan, N.B., passed away Fri­day Septem­ber 7,

2018 at Mi­ramichi Re­gional Hos­pi­tal, at the age of 71. Born in Char­lot­te­town, P.E.I., she was the daugh­ter of the late Lawrence and Jean (Smith) Mathe­son. She was a re­tired LPN and mil­i­tary wife who trav­elled around the world. She en­joyed spend­ing time with her fam­ily and her time at the beach sur­rounded by friends and her beloved dog, Benji. Ruby was also a mem­ber of St. Michael’s Basil­ica. Be­sides her hus­band Sonny of 54 years, she is sur­vived by two daugh­ters; Kather­ine Jean Wash­burn of Mi­ramichi and Kim­berly Grace Cor­co­ran (Allan) of Mi­ramichi, three grand­chil­dren, Nathan Cor­co­ran of Mi­ramichi, Shelby Cor­co­ran of Saint John and Sarah Jean Wash­burn of Mi­ramichi and one great-grand­child, Hunter Wash­burn-mac­don­ald, one sis­ter; Ar­lene Mclaren of Truro NS, three broth- ers; Gary (Carla) Mathe­son, Kenny (Joan) Mathe­son and Wade (Noreen) Mathe­son all of Truro, N.S. Be­sides her par­ents, she was pre­de­ceased by a son-in-law Pa­trick Wash­burn. At the re­quest of Ruby there will be no vis­i­ta­tion or fu­neral ser­vice. Burial will be in Bi­ble Hill Ceme­tery, Truro, Nova Sco­tia.
