Zombie Walk returning to Truro next month
Even the Zombies want to check out Truro’s Civic Square.
The Zombie Walk will be returning to Truro on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 11 a. m., and walkers of all ages are invited to take part.
“I took part in the walk a couple of years ago, and it was a ton of fun,” said Angela Bailey. “Last year, people were saying they missed it, so I decided to start early and organize one.
“I hope it will be the biggest one yet.”
Bailey is an experienced zombie who plays a part at Riverbreeze Fear Farm each year, and she’s o ering her face painting services, for the hour before the walk. She also plans to give away prizes.
e walk will begin at the Civic Square, go down Prince Street, to Inglis Place, to the Esplanade, and back to the square.
“It’s family friendly, and people are just asked to bring a food bank donation if they want to join in,” said Bailey, whose daughters Jaylynn, 12, and Kaysey, 10, will be taking part.
“ is brings people with an interest in zombies and Halloween together, and I nd it pretty exciting.”
Kaysey, left, and Jaylynn Bailey quickly became zombies when their mother, Angela, got out her makeup. Angela is organizing a Zombie Walk for Truro this year.
