Zom­bie Walk re­turn­ing to Truro next month

Even the Zom­bies want to check out Truro’s Civic Square.

The Zom­bie Walk will be re­turn­ing to Truro on Satur­day, Oct. 13, at 11 a. m., and walk­ers of all ages are in­vited to take part.

“I took part in the walk a cou­ple of years ago, and it was a ton of fun,” said An­gela Bai­ley. “Last year, peo­ple were say­ing they missed it, so I de­cided to start early and or­ga­nize one.

“I hope it will be the big­gest one yet.”

Bai­ley is an ex­pe­ri­enced zom­bie who plays a part at River­breeze Fear Farm each year, and she’s o er­ing her face paint­ing ser­vices, for the hour be­fore the walk. She also plans to give away prizes.

e walk will be­gin at the Civic Square, go down Prince Street, to Inglis Place, to the Es­planade, and back to the square.

“It’s fam­ily friendly, and peo­ple are just asked to bring a food bank dona­tion if they want to join in,” said Bai­ley, whose daugh­ters Jay­lynn, 12, and Kay­sey, 10, will be tak­ing part.

“ is brings peo­ple with an in­ter­est in zom­bies and Hal­loween to­gether, and I nd it pretty ex­cit­ing.”
