Nabbed for impaired driving

Cameron Austin Lewis of Centreville was sentenced for an impaired driving related charge in Kentville provincial court July 18.

Lewis, 78, was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $300 victim fine surcharge for operating a motor vehicle when his blood-alcohol level exceeded the legal limit.

Lewis must also adhere to a one-year driving prohibition.

The offence occurred in Centreville on May 31, 2016.
