Po­lice seek in­for­ma­tion on New Mi­nas break-ins

Kings District RCMP are seek­ing as­sis­tance from the public to solve three breakand-en­ters to one busi­ness in New Mi­nas.

Be­tween Nov. 18 and Nov. 24, 2016, po­lice re­sponded to three- break- and- en­ters at Nova In­dus­trial Sup­plies. Each time, the lone sus­pect smashed a glass win­dow on the door of the busi­ness to gain en­try.

The sus­pect then took the cash drawer, which con­tained a quan­tity of money, and left the busi­ness on foot.

The last time the sus­pect at­tempted to gain en­try, it was un­suc­cess­ful. No fur­ther thefts have oc­curred since.

All three break- and- en­ters oc­curred in the early morn­ing hours be­tween 1 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. It is be­lieved all three in­ci­dents are re­lated.

Po­lice are look­ing to iden­tify and speak with the per­son cap­tured by on- site cam­eras. The in­ves­ti­ga­tion is on­go­ing.
