Two arrested in Windsor drug bust
Hydromorphone pills were seized after police raided a home in Windsor June 16.
After an ongoing investigation, the Windsor RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with assistance from the Kings street crime unit and the Windsor RCMP, executed a search warrant at a residence on Gerrish Street in Windsor.
A 58-year-old man from Windsor is facing charges after a quantity of hydromorphone pills was seized at the home, police say in a June 22 press release. The man, who was released, will appear in Windsor court July 25 to answer to charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and breaching a probation order.
The second man, a 41-year-old from Hants County, is facing possession charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He will also appear in Windsor court on July 25.
The investigation is ongoing.
