Scott’s Bay bestselling author, Ami McKay, will be one of three participating authors at Read for the Cure in Vancouver Nov. 8. It will be held at the Marriott Pinnacle Hotel with Sari Lapena and Roberta Rick. Tickets include appetizers, presentations, Q&A and take home signed book copies. It is being held in support of the Cancer Research Society.
Ross Creek Centre is offering PD day camps, ages 5-12, Nov. 10 and 30, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. There will also be a community arts day Nov. 26, 1-4 p.m. that will explore Japanese Culture, feature a variety of art activities and treats for all ages.
