Pa­tri­cia (Pat) Ann Fice passed away peace­fully on Oct. 21, 2018, in Wolfville, NS, at the age of 76. Born on March 2, 1942 in Eng­land, she re­turned with her mother (a mem­ber of the Bri­tish Aux­il­iary Ter­ri­to­rial Ser­vice) to Canada as a baby and grew up in Ot­tawa and Toronto, at­tend­ing the pres­ti­gious Brank­some Hall Girls School. She then worked in Mon­treal, PQ, for many years, mov­ing to the Annapolis Val­ley, NS, near re­tire­ment to be close to her fa­ther, where she en­joyed liv­ing in Wind­sor, Wolfville and Can­ning. Pat will be missed by sis­ter Ju­lia in Toronto, brother Richard, sis­ter-in-law Deb­bie and nephew Aric in Dart­mouth, and nephew Kipp Camp­bell in Kentville. She is pre­de­ceased by par­ents Eleanor (nee Kipp) of Ot­tawa, and Frank Fice of Wolfville. The memo­rial ser­vice to com­mem­o­rate Pat’s life will be held at St. John’s Angli­can Church, Wolfville, NS, on Satur­day, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. It will be fol­lowed by a small re­cep­tion at the church; Pat very much en­joyed at­tend­ing the so­cial gather­ing af­ter church ser­vices. Pat greatly loved an­i­mals, espe­cially cats, hers and ev­ery­one else’s. Her fam­ily re­quests that do­na­tions be made in her mem­ory to the Nova Sco­tia SPCA or any an­i­mal shel­ter. Her fam­ily also wishes to ex­press their grat­i­tude to the staff of Wolfville Nurs­ing Homes for their kind and sen­si­tive care.
