Uno Langmann Limited
This internationally recognized gallery is Canada’s foremost specialist in European and North American paintings of the highest quality from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. The elegant, neo-classical surroundings of the gallery also showcase a careful selection of antique furniture, silver, and objets d’art. For nearly forty years, Uno Langmann Limited Fine Art has been located in the first building on South Granville’s Gallery Row, making it a landmark in the Vancouver art scene.
Uno Langmann has been a fixture in the Canadian art and antique market since he first went into business in 1968. He was joined in the gallery by his daughter Jeanette Langmann, the current president of the Art Dealers Association of Canada, in 1983. Both Uno and Jeanette are experts on the CBC’s Canadian Antiques Roadshow and are current or founding board members of the Canadian Antique Dealers Association of Canada, the Art Dealers Association of Canada and Canadian Professional Appraisers. Uno Langmann Limited Fine Art is committed to maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and connoisseurship. The gallery is always interested in acquiring works through purchase or consignment, offering clients a confidential and appealing alternative to the auction marketplace with lower commission rates. Both museums and private collectors have come to rely on the gallery for a full range of services relating to acquisitions, consignment, sales, appraisals, conservation, and framing.
