Renowned for its fault­less ser­vice and im­pec­ca­ble cui­sine, Diva at the Met is firmly rooted in the bounty of the re­gion.

One of the city’s finest award-win­ning restau­rants, lo­cated within the land­mark Met­ro­pol­i­tan Ho­tel, Diva re­cently wel­comed Ge­orges. After decades of train­ing with some of Europe’s top chefs, in­clud­ing Nice and Monaco, Ge­orges was l ured t o Van­cou­ver for a new gas­tro­nomic ad­ven­ture.

“I love work­ing with lo­cal farm­ers and be­ing able to pur­chase fresh or­ganic pro­duce and herbs grown specif­i­cally for Diva,” says Ge­orges, who hails from the Nor­mandy re­gion of France. “It’s sim­ple re­ally; buy the best in­gre­di­ents and you get bet­ter re­sults.”

Ge­orges and his team bring to Diva a true re­spect for in­gre­di­ents and a rep­u­ta­tion for high­light­ing them through both tra­di­tional and mod­ern cook­ing tech­niques.

The fi­nal flour­ish of your meal – the dessert - is cre­ated mas­ter­fully by Ital­ian-born pas­try chef Emid­dio Iser­nia, whose tiramisu is pos­si­bly the best in the city.

Diva fea­tures new and glob­ally in­spired wines, hand­crafted cock­tails fea­tur­ing fresh, lo­cal fruits in sea­son, and craft beers.

Diva at the Met con­tin­ues its trade­mark tra­di­tion of el­e­vat­ing food to an artis­tic shape and form; all of their dishes are in­spir­ing mas­ter­pieces.
