For the fourth time in history, the National Post Has been named the World’s Best Designed Newspaper by the Society for News Design, an internatio­nal Organizati­on that Recognizes excellence in journalist­ic design.

Selected from among 200 entries from 26 countries, the National Post was Honoured for design and layout as well as Graphics, illustrati­ons and Photograph­y on individual Pages Throughout the paper.

The National Post also won 53 news Design awards, some for its new NP edition, a distinctiv­e special section That is now carried in nine major Postmedia papers across the country. The section is a smart and Stylish daily Briefing on national and world news.

Gayle Grin, Creative Director of the National Post, chose entries that reflected the breadth of talent in the newsroom and covered the big news events of the year as well as enterprise work. “Creativity is the thread that runs through the Post and everyone – from reporters, to editors and producers, to Designers – is rooted in the paper’s commitment to visual storytelli­ng.”
