Film festival celebrates culinary delights

The world’s largest culinary film festival, Devour! returns to the South Okanagan May 5-7.

It will be the Okanagan’s largest culinary event, showcasing all that Osoyoos has to offer in the way of food, film, and wine.

Driven by local agricultur­e, businesses, and education, the event will utilize B.C.’s best and budding talents in the form of filmmakers, chefs, tourism and tradesmen, winemakers, and feature four signature events as well as several surroundin­g events including unique tour experience­s, dine-arounds, and more.

Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar celebrates the rustic flavours of Spain’s national dish at a Sunday night Paella Series.

Executive chef Alex Chen and team will serve up a three-course menu featuring paella with Pacific octopus, local clams and mussels, prawns, chorizo sofrito, saffron and shellfish stock.

Reception begins at 6 p.m., with dinner to follow at 6:30 p.m.
