May 19, 1943 − Oc­to­ber 9, 2018 Verna Anne Choboter (nee Ukrainetz) was born in Tuffnell Sask. and passed away peace­fully in Ab­bots­ford, BC af­ter bat­tling many health is­sues with her fam­ily by her side. A woman of tremen­dous faith, Verna spent her life serv­ing oth­ers, whether it was a car­ing wife, mother, grand­mother, friend, or teach­ing stu­dents her ge­nius pi­ano skills. She is sur­vived and will be sadly missed by her de­voted hus­band Ivan, sons Jon, Paul (Denise), and Peter (Kristina), grand­chil­dren Zach, Rachel, Joel, Thomas, Alina, Michael, Pay­ton, Lexi, and Levi, sis­ter Betty, sis­ters in law Sylvia and Joan, broth­ers Vic­tor(Yvette), Henry (Loreen), Gerry (Hen­ri­etta), Tim, and Larry (Betty). Verna will be join­ing her mother Gena and fa­ther Karl and step­fa­ther Steve in heaven and her broth­ers Wal­ter, Ed (Is­abel), Stan (Scot­tie) and brother in law Wal­ter Fedak. A fu­neral ser­vice will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on 2018−10−16 at St. James Catholic Church , 2777 Town­line
