1919 − 2018 Sur­rounded by her chil­dren Wynn, age 99 passed away peace­fully on Septem­ber 30, 2018 at the Irene Thomas Hospice in Lad­ner, B.C. Born in Sk­ag­way, Alaska on Au­gust 09, 1919 to par­ents Eric and Mary (Pater­son) Telfer. Pre­de­ceased by in­fant brother Bruce, her par­ents, hus­band Charles (Chuck) Den­nett, daugh­ter Nancy. She is sur­vived by her lov­ing chil­dren Patrick (Judy), Ron, Jack (Pam), and Lola (By­ron), grand­chil­dren Krista, Ryan, Michaela, By­ron, Ash­ley, Bren­don, and 6 great−grand­chil­dren. To­gether with her par­ents Wynn moved to Lad­ner, B.C. at age 5. As a child she dis­cov­ered a love for draw­ing and art. Dur­ing WWII Wynn en­listed in the Women’s Di­vi­sion of the Royal Cana­dian Air Force. She mar­ried hus­band Charles Den­nett in May 1946. They moved to Ab­bots­ford, B.C. in 1951 and raised their fam­ily there. Wynn earned a di­ploma of Fine Arts from Fraser Val­ley Col­lege. In 1978 she and Chuck moved to Tsawwassen, B.C. She was an early mem­ber of the South Delta Artists Guild and was a cel­e­brated life−long mem­ber who was keenly in­volved with her paint­ing groups. "Wynn is our in­spi­ra­tion: she was al­ways ahead of us show­ing us how to live life to the fullest in a way that belied her years. She was res­o­lute, de­ter­mined, kind, feisty and hum­ble."Wynn leaves a no­table legacy, with many achieve­ments as painter, orig­i­nal hooked rug ar­ti­san, ge­neal­ogy re­searcher, and in­spi­ra­tion and men­tor to friends, fel­low artists and es­pe­cially fam­ily.

A ser­vice to cel­e­brate Wynn’s life is planned for Novem­ber 25, 2018 at the Har­ris Barn, 4140 Arthur Drive Delta, B.C. from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
