Inter Miami signs World Cup winner

Expansion club Inter Miami CF has announced the signing of Juventus FC and France international midfielder Blaise Matuidi on a free transfer. Matuidi has played the past three seasons with the Italian club. Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham and Matuidi were teammates in 2017 at Paris Saint-Germain. Matuidi, 33, also helped France to the World Cup title in 2018. He has yet to score in 35 regular-season games this season.
